Tech Support / Possible Virus on the Forum
« on: October 17, 2017, 12:49:50 PM »
Hi Guys,

For the past week I have been getting a notification from my anti-virus programme that there might be a Trojan on this website.

It is only this website that triggers it as it appears that there is something on the website that is trying to redirect the traffic.

Please check it out as this s7.addthis is apparently quite malicious.

The event is automated so the lobby will only appear at or around 20h00 and you will enter into the practice session followed by qualifying and then the race. We will use "Super7"as the general password to enter our lobbies.

SPORTING REGULATIONS

Race weekends would consist of a Main Race in which a mandatory pit-stop has to be taken, during which all wheels and tyres must be changed. Compounds must be the same on front and back and no swapping of compounds is allowed.

A 30min practice session will be held before the race officially begins.

Qualifying would be a 15 minute session with the fastest lap counting.

The Main Race will start with a rolling start based on results from qualifying.

During the race you may not exit to the pit by any other means than driving down the pit lane and parking in your pit box. If you run out of fuel or get damage then you need to drive the car back to the pit if possible or park it and retire.

RACE START PROCEDURE:

All cars run the formation lap in single file around the entire course at +-120kph. Spacing is during single file is important as there will be weaving to keep the tyres warm and up to temperature. After the last corner of the course the drivers will split into a double file, while still maintaining position towards the S/F line. The leaders will call the race once they see the S/F line (about +-100m from it) and only when all cars are on the straight. If anybody is caught jump the start, an investigation will ensue and they will be penalized.

PROMOTION RELEGATION

The Top 3 finishers in POOL B are promoted to POOL A. The Bottom 3 finishers in POOL A ( including DNF and DNS ) will be relegated to Pool B.

If a driver up for promotion from POOL B wishes to remain in POOL B, he can notify the series  moderators either by PM or posting in the race topic. He will then remain in Pool B as elected. If no notification is received then he will be promoted.

THE RULES AND PENALTY PROCEDURE:

Online Racing Rules and Regulations will be used. I suggest your read and memorize these rules like you are studying for your final exams.
Banter, Bullying, Stereotyping, Racism or Whining will not be tolerated. Anyone caught doing either of these will result in a warning, penalty, disqualification or complete removal of the series. We are here to have fun guys, we don't need these types of problems to ruin the race for everyone.

Please read the Sporting Regulations page for the full rules and regulations

This is a thread page to indicate how the 7 GT3 Cars in Assetto Corsa where chosen for the 7 different tracks

The Image below indicates the time of the messages received.

The first entry was from Team Ninja at 13:30.04
The second entry was from Potenza at 13:33:54
And the third entry was from Team Tosco at 13:34:04

Team Tosco and Team Potenza were to revise two track as they had already been taken. They sent subsequent messages to resolve the conflicts as seen below.

Below is the results of the Reservations. All cars are spread across each track and each team/ driver is to race with that car for that track. Those who has not provided lists at the time, has been allocated cars for the tracks.

No changes to the combos are allowed and these are set for the season.

SUPER 7 SERIES ALLOCATION AND BIDDING PROCEDURE

All teams will get to choose their car line-ups at the start of the season. Cars will be chosen per track and will be locked in for the season for that team for a particular race. E.G. If the Audi LMS Ultra is reserved by Team X for Spa, only Team X will use it for that track. For the next track/race, Team X will have to use a different car for that track/race until all cars are used by that team during the season. So the aim is to choose your car/track combos very carefully to maximise the team's chances of winning.
Every team will have a day in which they can reserve their car/track combos. Only one team per car/track combo is allowed.

This reservation will happen by sending the series creator a PM on CRCOZA as to the Car/Track combos they want. This reservation will happen at a set time and day which will be announced by the series creator.

All reservations will be done by the team leaders only via PM and will be done on a first come first serve basis. This will be verified by timestamp. No constructors points will be deducted for this.

In the event that more than one team registers interest in a car/track combo, the series creator will inform the teams of the outcome and allow them to either negotiate between themselves or bid for a particular Car/Track combo. The team who would be willing to bid the most constructors' points for the car/track combo, will be allocated that combo. The bid Constructors points will be deducted from the overall team tally. Negotiations will not incur Constructors points deductions.

A team can bid as many points they want to secure a car/track combo. If there is more than one team bidding on a specific car/track combo, a team may up their bid to as much as they want to and can go into a negative amount of constructors points to secure the car they really want. A team can place a bid on two or more car/track combos simultaneously if they want and the necessary points will be deducted from their total. If a team deems that a rival bid is too much for a particular combo, they can concede the bid on that combo and get all their bid points back. They can then use those points to bid on another combo should they deem fit.

The Bidding process will be opened if necessary. The series creator will make the necessary announcement.

Independent racers (Those without a team) will be only one independent racer per car per track. If the independent’s wish to form a team, they will be subjected to the same allocations as the other teams.

As Assetto Corsa only allows a set number of cars per room, only the cars that are driving in that room will be allowed. The room host will set these parameters.

Please note, no swapping of cars will be allowed once they are locked in at the start of the series.

A Driver's and Manufacturer's (Team) Championship will be determined (Top 3 points scoring drivers per team, per race contributing to overall points for championship)
