How To Live Stream on GTSport
« on: April 09, 2018, 03:28:36 PM »
Hi All

Would be great to live stream our races on GTSport.

Has anyone here ever done this, and know how to?

The person that streams should have a good solid connection and upload speed ( probably fibre) so it doesn't cause lag etc.

The following is copied and pasted from IGN:

How to Stream Video From Playstation 4

Start the game you wish to stream.

Press the 'Share' Button.

Select "Broadcast Gameplay"

Select the service you wish to stream to
(Twitch.tv or UStream)

Link your Twitch / UStream profile to your PS4
(This is done on their respective websites)

Title your broadcast / set streaming options

Select "Start Broadcasting"

What would be nice would be if someone had to only join as a spectator. Then, rather than just seeing the race from 1 drivers perspective, the viewers could see lots of different action as the spectator switches between cars and different camera angles.

Maybe an idea for another series, but it would be interesting if the person acting as the spectator/director gets enough championship points to maintain their championship position plus bonus points based on how good the broadcast is. Or even points deducted if they don't follow the action or don't put in enough effort. This could be possible because on Twitch you can archive your live streams so they can be watched again. Other drivers and/or designated watchers could vote on each replay. Not sure how it would work for the first or last race but I'm sure something could be figured out.

I wonder if PD will eventually create a virtual automatic director mode for live streaming... Wouldn't be that hard to show in-race replays of accidents and overtakes etc...
